Salem fire—Quinton’s father, George W. Jones, returns on the train from Boston to form a bucket brigade to save the house.

Quinton’s father dies suddenly.

Malcolm and Quinton travel to Europe

Quinton attends The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where he studies sculpture.
